Description:Avellino Futbol Club was formed in 1987 on the foundation of three boy's teams. The Club was funded by a generous donation from a company in Kansas City that had corporate colors of silver and maroon. To this day, Avellino's distinctive maroon uniforms pay tribute to the Club's heritage. Players on the last of the original teams graduated from high school in 1996.
