| Description: | The Augusta Arsenal Soccer Club (AASC) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1982 to provide outstanding area soccer players the opportunity to play at a higher level. The original mission of the club is still very much alive, and other priorities have been adopted. These include educating recreational coaches, educating club coaches, providing camps and clinics for recreational and club players, as well as fielding over 20 select teams.
Our current select program consists of 23 youth teams which are referred to as Gunners. The Gunners teams range from U-9 to U-19. The majority of these teams compete in the Classic I, Classic II, Athena A, and Athena B divisions; the upper echelons in the Georgia Youth Soccer Association. Apart from club activities, the AASC is one of the top 10 clubs in Georgia in terms of State Olympic Development Program representation. |
