| Description: | The Vipers Soccer Club formed in 1998, as a competitive soccer club. The Vipers operates as a non-profit organization focused on promoting the sport of soccer, at a competitive level, in Rowlett, Rockwall and the surrounding communities. In its first year the club consisted of three teams, '88 boys, '89 boys and '89 girls. The club has since added new teams each year up to the current under ten age group. The Club has 4 teams that have made it into the elite "classic leagues." The Vipers participate in league play in Lake Highlands Girls Classic League, Chamber Classic Soccer Alliance and Plano Premier Invitational League. The teams also participate throughout the year in a number of tournaments within the Dallas FT Worth Metroplex, as well as traveling outside of North Texas. Teams have traveled to Colorado, San Antonio, Waco, Tyler, Wichita Falls and other communities for tournaments and plan to broaden their travel in the upcoming years. |
