The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) is the governing body of football in the Republic of Ireland. Today, over 180 000 people play football in Irish football clubs and schools and many more people are involved as coaches, officials and volunteers. The role of the Association is to promote, foster and develop this activity. The FAI controls the activities of all Ireland's international football teams and is affiliated to F?d?ration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). Through its own affiliated bodies the FAI also organises all domestic competitions from the Eircom League and FAI Carlsberg Cup to the FAI Schools' 6-a-side competition.

We Are Bohemians! The Bohemian Football Club is the oldest association football club in the Republic of Ireland. Founded on 6 September 1890 at a meeting in the North Circular Road Gate Lodge in Dublin's Phoenix Park, we have a long and rich history. Bohemians were prime movers in re-establishing the game in Dublin, the province of Leinster, and then further afield.
