Dallas SCORES, an affiliate of the national program America SCORES, is the only after-school program to use the world's most popular sport - soccer - to inspire literacy in elementary school children. We serve 128 youth in the Dallas Independent School District; every day after school our kids will play soccer and express themselves through poetry!

| Passback - for the good of the game
The Passback program collects used but still playable gear and sends it to teams/organizations who are otherwise unable to afford even the most basic soccer equipment. From a small school in Zimbabwe to an after-school program in inner-city New York, Passback gear has found its way to all corners of the globe. It has grown from one box sent to a family friend to a program that donated some 30,000 pieces of gear last year.

| US Soccer Foundation
Formed from the surplus funds generated by the 1994 World Cup, the US Soccer Foundation officially opened its doors in 1995 with an endowment of almost $50 million dollars. Since then, with the publicity and enthusiasm for the sport generated by the 1994 World Cup and sustained by the 1999 Women's World Cup, participation levels of men, women, and children have increased significantly. Simultaneously, the Foundation's ability to fund soccer programs across the country has also increased.
The Foundation is continually striving to meet our mission - to enhance, assist and grow the sport of soccer - by seeking out and supporting new partnerships and programs each year.
